
I’m incredibly proud of this story which marries science and medicine with the real human beings behind how we talk about trans bodies in sports. It got some of the loveliest praise I’ve ever received for a piece of my journalism.

It was genuinely a joy to hear how author/advocate/actor Harrison Browne and his sister Rachel (an investigative journalist) wrote their book, “Let Us Play” and the reality behind being the first out and proud US professional athlete. (Yes, Harrison is also in several episodes of “Heated Rivalry!”
